Student Organizations and Activities
Your college experience involves more than going to classes. Organizations and activities offer ways to get involved, serve others, meet people and grow. Whether your interest is academic, recreational or social, there is a group for you.
Corps of Cadets
The ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵAPP Corps of Cadets is our oldest, most visible student organization.
The Corps of Cadets is a values-based military and civilian leadership program. However, there is no obligation to join the military after your time in the Corps. Cadets gain leadership skills through the Reserve Officer Training Corps programs and the . incorporates academic commitment, health and wellness, and career readiness.
Fraternities and Sororities
Our university is home to 58 internationally affiliated or local Greek-letter organizations. Fraternity and sorority members focus on academics, leadership skills and philanthropy. They also provide support networks for current and incoming Aggies.
Student Representatives
We have organizations that ensure the voices of our students are heard. Some serve the entire student body, while others serve an individual class, graduate students or on-campus students.
The ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵAPP Student Government Association engages and represents the student body. It has more than 1,400 students among the three branches of government, four commissions and 15 programming committees.
ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵAPP Class Councils aim to build spirit by uniting the classes through Aggie traditions. They host events like Elephant Walk and Ring Dance and raise money for the class gift given to the university upon graduation.
Our Graduate and Professional Student Government is the student government for graduate and professional students. It brings graduate concerns to the attention of our university's administration.
Our Residential Housing Association creates positive changes for the on-campus living experience. It offers services, programs and leadership opportunities for our on-campus student population.
Music Activities
Our Department of Music Activities serves more than 1,300 students annually. The department offers opportunities to perform at concerts, advance your musical skills and travel overseas.
