Leadership Programs
Opportunities for veterans to find a home at ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵAPP include joining the Corps of Cadets and one of our three Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) programs. These organizations offer scholarships and foster a sense of community for veterans in their post-military academic careers.
The Corps of Cadets is ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵAPP’s largest and oldest student organization and leadership training program. It provides a structured military environment, hands-on leadership experiences, and resources to help cadets excel academically. There is no military obligation to join.
Detachment 805 prepares Corps of Cadets members to serve in the U.S. Air Force or the U.S. Space Force. Members participate in excursion trips to other countries, during which they view live aircraft up close and talk with Air Force and Space Force professionals from all specialties.
ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵAPP’s ROTC Warrior Training Battalion prepares Corps of Cadets members to serve in the U.S. Army. Members will gain basic military skills and fundamental leadership knowledge and will start the groundwork toward becoming an Army leader.
Naval ROTC members learn firsthand the roles and missions of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. Students fly with Navy and Marine pilots, embark on ships and submarines, work with special operations units and train with marine infantry and other combat units.
