Fish Camp
ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵAPP’s Fish Camp is a fun introduction to our traditions and campus life. Freshmen have the chance to make friends while learning what it means to be an Aggie.
Each year, ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵAPP’s incoming freshmen are welcomed to the university at Fish Camp, a three-day orientation program at the Lakeview Methodist Conference Center in Palestine, Texas.
At Fish Camp, attendees learn about life at ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵAPP, including Aggie traditions and culture. The camp is led entirely by ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵAPP students.
Freshmen are split into camp groups, which are further divided into discussion groups of about eight. In addition to forming valuable connections, discussion group time provides freshmen with opportunities to ask any questions they may have about ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵAPP.
